KurandaPro Webinar:
Flooring for your Pet Care Facility with Jeff Adney from Terwisscha Construction, Inc.
In boarding and daycare facilities, your floors work as hard as you do.
Between paw traffic, moisture, cleaning chemicals, and daily wear, the wrong choice can impact safety, sanitation, and long-term costs.
This webinar is built for pet care operators who are building, renovating, or upgrading flooring protection.
We’ll compare the most common options—from concrete and vinyl to porcelain and resinous systems—and walk through the D.R.E.A.M. framework (Durability, ROI, Environmentally Friendly, Aesthetics, and Maintenance) to help you choose the right solution for your facility.
Jeff Adney's role is Strategic Business Development Manager with Terwisscha Construction (TWC) – a national design build firm that specializes in pet care facilities – Veterinary, Boarding, Daycare and Grooming, and Shelters.
Jeff has been involved in the Pet Care space going on 25 years. Much of it as a national installer of epoxy based coatings.
Jeff’s current focus is in the Boarding and Daycare market - helping existing clients expand to second and third locations as well as working with those just looking to start in the industry.
Shawnté Marquez is a Business Development Specialist at TWC, TerWisscha Construction, where she partners with pet care entrepreneurs in the Boarding & Daycare segment to bring expansion and new facility projects to life. With over a decade in the pet care industry—including founding and scaling a seven-figure pet hotel—Shawnté brings hands-on operational insight to every conversation.
Prior to joining TWC, she served as Head of Growth and Business Coach at The Dog Gurus, where she helped pet care owners increase gross revenue, strengthen leadership teams, and build scalable systems within their businesses. She also led consultative sales strategies, workshops, and industry events designed to support long-term, sustainable growth.
Shawnté is passionate about helping pet care leaders align vision with strategy—so they can grow confidently, profitably, and with the right foundation in place.
TWC’s method to success is based on a very consultative approach. Jeff helps clients navigate everything from zoning and code compliance, construction budgets, cash flow analysis, projection- based financials, demographic reviews, architectural drawings, and finally construction.
TWC works hard to make sure you succeed.
