From in the Red to Thriving!

KurandaPro Webinar:

How Lucky Dog Day & Night Care went from in the red to thriving featuring Dee Dee Fasquel, Founder & CEO of InstinctIQ and Owner of Luckydog Day & Night Care, and Stacey Lambert, KPA-CTP, Fear Free Certified Professional

What does it take to transform a struggling dog daycare and lodging facility into a thriving, nationally recognized business?

Join Dee Dee Fasquel and Stacey Lambert as they share the story behind Luckydog's transformation—from operational challenges, high employee turnover, and limited educational resources to a successful facility built around dog well-being, employee development, and science-informed care.

They'll discuss the changing demands of professional dog care, why traditional one-time training falls short, and how bringing together expertise in veterinary medicine, behavior science, and professional dog care helped them build a stronger foundation for their team.

You'll hear how Luckydog reduced employee turnover by more than 90%, nearly doubled revenue, and developed systems that have allowed Dee Dee to step away from day-to-day operations for more than three years.
They'll also introduce EssentialsIQ, the veterinary-led, science-informed educational framework and daily care app developed from their experience at Luckydog. EssentialsIQ brings responsibility-based education, reinforced learning, facility resources, daily care tools, and team communication together to support professional dog care teams.

This is a conversation about what they learned, what they changed, and how those experiences shaped a new approach to educating and supporting the people responsible for caring for dogs.

Meet the Speakers

Dee Dee Fasquel
Founder & CEO, InstinctIQ | Owner, Luckydog Day & Night Care

Dee Dee Fasquel founded InstinctIQ after experiencing firsthand the gap between what professional dog care teams are responsible for and the education and support available to them. With a background spanning veterinary medicine, corporate business, and dog daycare and lodging ownership, she understands the challenges of running a professional dog care facility.
Frustrated by the lack of resources available to her own team, she brought together expertise in veterinary medicine, behavior science, and professional dog care. This multidisciplinary approach helped transform Luckydog into a nationally recognized operation that has run without her day-to-day involvement for more than three years. That experience became the foundation for InstinctIQ.
Her vision was to give facility owners and their teams something that had been missing from the industry: a comprehensive approach that connects education, reinforced learning, and ongoing support with the realities of daily care.
